A kickoff meeting has been held with PCPA and provisional dates have been agreed for workshops to be held in Tokyo from October through February for the schematic stage of the project: October 10-11; November 9-11; December 13-15; January 24-26; and February 26-28. This shall be an intense period for the project team as the Takanawa design will progress significantly and the Azabudai design will get underway. A timetable for focus groups will be posted later.

The pre-qualification documents (PQ) for the F&B interior architects were issued, and we received some very strong responses.

Surveys in and around the Club have been continuing. A full inventory of the Club’s assets has been completed. Air quality, noise levels, traffic surveys, plants and animals and others are underway. From late September through mid-October, soil boring tests will take place, and will cause some level of disruption to the Club’s parking in the Main Parking Lot and Azabu Towers, although steps are being taken with Mitsubishi to minimize this intrusion.
