Following the successful completion of the pre-project stage, Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects (PCPA) was confirmed as the master design architect for the Club through to the end of the project. The greatest level of input from the company shall be from October this year through to the end of June 2007 when it is expected that it shall complete the development stage of the design. PCPA shall be responsible for the overall design of the Club, including the interiors (except for the F&B outlets), which shall be undertaken by a specialist designer.
MJS were confirmed as the local architects for the project, providing the local architectural, mechanical, electrical and structural engineering disciplines. Headway is also being made to identify and appoint the other key consultants that will be required to bring the project to fruition.
The Board created the Redevelopment Project Committee (RPC) that consists of ex-officio Members, being the chairs of LPRC, House, Finance, Recreation, F&B, AAG and the Club president. The RPC shall meet with the general manager and redevelopment director on a regular basis and is responsible to the Board for the overall project. The LRPC and Finance committees continue to be responsible for recommending key issues to the Board for anything that significantly impacts the functionality or aesthetics of the design or exceeds the approved budget.
