The Premier International Club in Asia

October, 2007

The move to the temporary Club at Takanawa is quickly approaching and the project is progressing rapidly indeed, with construction on schedule.

The dates for the final closing of the Azabudai Club and the opening of the temporary facility at Takanawa are now in place. Also confirmed are agreements for Member use of supplemental offsite facilities at suitable central locations.

Due to the scale of the move to Takanawa, the current Azabudai facility will shut down in stages, beginning with the Garden Café, Vineyards and Rex’s Diner on December 16 (except for private parties ), followed by the remainder of the Club on the evening of December 25. Meanwhile, the vast majority of the facilities at the Takanawa Club, including fitness and casual dining, will open on January 11. The American Room and Vineyards will thereafter open on January 15, followed by the Spa on February 1.

The Club has negotiated and relevant committees approved agreements with a range of offsite facilities for Members to use during our time at Takanawa. Banquet facilities have been arranged at Academy Hills in the Mori Building and banquet, reduced rate rooms and parking provided for at Hotel Laforet. Fitness facilities are available at Tipness Roppongi and bowling at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Bowling Alley. We will be sure to pass on all the relevant details soon.

Also, the Club is currently developing a Member Welcome Pack to help in the transition to the Takanawa temporary facility, with specifics on the move, supplemental offsite facilities, and the Takanawa area. This will be mailed to Members in early December.

In the meantime, please approach Club Management or e-mail us your questions at 2010feedback@tac-club.org.
