Founded in the early Meji period, Konoike Construction today employs more than 2,300 staff, including nearly 1,800 engineers, whom it puts to work on projects throughout Japan and the world. It is the main contractor responsible for building the Club’s temporary facility in Takanawa. Its range of experience includes work on office buildings, railways, roads, water supply and sewage projects, schools and factories.
