The Premier International Club in Asia
Nikken Sekkei was the first company involved with the Club’s Redevelopment Project, coming on board more than seven years ago. The consulting firm, with expertise in design, engineering and urban planning, is managing the entire project, from Azabudai to Takanawa.
Nikken Sekkei provided services to the Club when redevelopment was just a flicker of an idea. It guided the Long Range Planning Committee in choosing whether to rebuild or renovate and helped with building and site evaluations. It also helped the Club choose its project developer, the TMT consortium, which also includes the Takenaka Corporation, the Mitsubishi Estate Company and Mitsubishi Jisho Sekkei. Today, Nikken Sekkei is coordinating the work of the project design teams and prime contractors.
Founded in 1900, Nikken Sekkei has worked on more than 20,000 projects in some 40 countries. Today, it employs about 1,900 specialists working in Japan.
