A Retreat in the Heart of Town
From within Tokyo, you can get to Takanawa by the Toei Asakusa or Yamanote lines. Both lines have stations that are roughly 15 minutes on foot from the Club at Takanawa. The Toei Asakusa Line takes you to Gotanda, Takanawadai and Shinagawa stations, while the Yamanote Lines takes you to Shinagawa Station.
Shinagawa Station is the most used of the three near the Takanawa site. From the station, you can walk to the temporary Club along quiet lanes or busy streets fronted with restaurants and shops. A taxi ride from the station to the Club takes just five minutes.
Shinagawa Station has access to JR train lines traveling to destinations in Tokyo and throughout Japan. These include the Keihin-Tohoku, Yokosuka and Tokaido lines as well as to the Narita Express and Tokaido bullet train. Easy access is also available to Haneda Airport via the private Keihin Kyuko line.
